LIRQUÉN PORT is a multipurpose terminal loading and unloading of wood, pulp, fertilizers and containers.
It is one of the four ports in the "Eighth Region" (or Bío Bío Zone).
The port has an interesting anecdote of patrimonial court, as part of its premises today occupies the ground where they operated coal mines that were in Lirquén, which were located at the height of the beach.
